From The Bahamas To Business Ownership In The United States
They're missing clarity.
Before I ever relocated, I spent countless hours searching for opportunities online.
I watched YouTube videos, I searched Google, I joined Facebook groups.
I researched side hustles, online businesses, remote work opportunities, and ways to earn income online. But I kept running into the same problem.
"U.S. residents only."
"Available in the United States and Canada only."
"Must have a U.S. Social Security Number."
Over and over again, it felt like many of the opportunities I was finding were unavailable simply because of where I lived. That frustration sparked something in me.
Instead of accepting that those opportunities weren't available, I became determined to understand why.
I wanted to learn how business worked, how entrepreneurs were creating opportunities for themselves, and what it would take to build something of my own.
Eventually, that journey led me to relocate to the United States.
Not because I was chasing a job.
Because I was chasing opportunity.
I wanted access to the tools, systems, and business environment that would allow me to create a different future for myself and my family.
TRANSFORMATION STORY
From Searching For Opportunity To Creating Opportunity
Like many immigrants, my journey wasn’t easy. When I arrived in the United States, I quickly realized that building a better future would require more than just working harder—it required learning new skills, understanding how businesses operate, and creating opportunities instead of waiting for them.
My first job paid around $15 per hour. While I was grateful, I wanted more than a paycheck—I wanted freedom, flexibility, and ownership, and the ability to build something that could create long-term opportunities for my family.
So I began learning. I studied entrepreneurship, business models, marketing, sales, customer service, and operations. Eventually, I launched a cleaning business that grew into a company generating over $12,000 per month.
That experience changed my life. It showed me what was possible when you combine education, action, and consistency, and proved that ordinary people can build extraordinary things when they stay committed to the process.

Why I Created Global Founder Collective
I created Global Founder Collective because I understand what it feels like to search for answers and find only confusion, to spend hours looking for opportunities that often feel out of reach, and to have ambition without clear direction. I also understand what it feels like to wonder if entrepreneurship is only accessible to those with the right information.
